★STeLA★
STeLA は、世界中の大学生を中心として運営されている、科学技術分野における国際的
リーダーシップの育成とそのネットワーク構築を目標とした国際団体です。これまでの
運営スタッフは米国（MIT、Harvard、Stanford...)、中国（北京大、清華大...）、日本（東大、
東工大、慶応大...）、EU（TU Delft、ENSTA、Ecole Polytechnique...）から参加しています。

STeLAの主な活動は、STeLA Leadership Forumの運営です。これは年に一度開催される
約1週間に渡る合宿型のリーダシップ育成プログラムであり、各支部から合計約50名の
大学生・大学院生が参加します。2012年には第6回目のSTeLA Leadership Forumを日本、
東京で開催する予定です。
他国支部との会議はインターネットテレビ会議システムを用いて行います。


★スタッフ募集★
STeLA Leadership Forum 2012の運営に伴い、新スタッフを募集します。
スタッフの仕事としては、渉外・広報・ファイナンス・フォーラムプログラム作成
（リーダーシップ教育、グループワークなど)・Web作成など、多岐に渡ります。
学年、国籍、専攻、文系理系などは問いません。

これらの活動を通して企業渉外、国際プロジェクトの運営、教育プログラム設計、
英語での活動の経験などが得られます。

今回は特に、渉外活動・研究助成申請での経験・知識がある方を積極的に採用します。
その他、学生団体等での活動経験がある方、Web作成能力がある方なども歓迎します！
日本国内の会議は都内の主要大学で行いますが、遠方のスタッフはオンライン会議シス
テムにより参加しています。

募集人数：若干名
応募方法：STeLA HPの応募フォームより
選考方法：書類と面接による選考（面接は11月13日（日）を予定）
応募締切：2011年10月30日(日) 23:59
応募資格：日本国内の大学に2012年9月時点で所属している学生・研究生であれば
どなたでも応募可能（学年、国籍、専攻、文系理系は問いません）

★STeLA Leadership Forum 2011★
STeLA Leadership Forum 2011では、以下のプログラムを実施しました。
・MIT Leadership Center( http://mitleadership.mit.edu/ )の協力による参加者自身の
リーダーシップ育成の為の講義・ロールプレイ・議論
・Phil Libin（evernote corporation CEO）の講演
・分科会においては、参加者が講義や議論等を通し、「環境の持続性」についての理解を
深めました。
・グループ・プロジェクトにおいては、少人数グループに分かれ、スタンフォード大学
内のリサイクルショップにある廃材を利用し、「Sustainable House」の作成及びプレゼ
ンテーションを行いました。これは共同作業を通し、国際プロジェクトにおいてリーダ
ーシップを発揮する模擬体験をするのが狙いです。

なお、これまでの主なフォーラム参加者は以下の大学に所属する学生達です。
米国：MIT、Harvard、Stanford、Priceton、Univ of California San Francisco...
中国：北京大、清華大、北京理工大、浙江大...
日本：東大、東工大、筑波大、慶應大、早稲田大、東京医科歯科大、首都大、京大、

*STeLA*
The purpose of STeLA is to develop future leaders from across the globe
to act on real global issues in science and technology fields.
As of now, STeLA has four branches.
+STeLA-USA: consists of students in MIT, Havard...
+STeLA-China: consists of students in Peking Univ, Tsinghua Univ...
+STeLA-Japan: consists of students in Tokyo Univ, Tokyo Tech...
+STeLA-France: consists of students in ENSTA, Ecole Polytechnique...

*Activity of STeLA*
Main activity of STeLA is to organize STeLA Leadership Forum.
Objective: To cultivate global leadership skills of students in the science
and technology related students.
Term: About one week.
Participants: Each STeLA branch recruit.
So far, we have held the forum 5 times in Tokyo, Boston, Beijing and Stanford.
Next year, the forum is planned to be held in Tokyo.

*Call for Staff*
We will recruit new staff members in order to hold STeLA Leadership
Forum 2012.
Staff works consist of...
- Fund-raising and accounting
- Contents development (Leadership Education, Thematic Session, Group Project)
- Web page development
- Liaising with sponsors and supporters
- ...
This year we are especially seeking those who have experience in
and knowledge of public relations and fundraising.
Of course, you are still encouraged to apply even if you do not
have these specific experiences.

The staff meeting among branches is held using online conference system,
and the official language during the meeting is English.
So you don't need to be afraid of our activity even though you are not
confident in speaking Japanese!

Our selection process consists of essay and interview.
The application deadline is 23:59, 30th Oct (Sun).
The interview will be held on Nov. 13th.

You can check our web page for more details, and we will hold debriefing
session for last forum on 15th Oct (Sun) in Hongo Campus of Univ. of Tokyo.
(Sorry, the language in the debriefing session is Japanese)

we held leadership lecture, role playing game, discussion...
+Keynote speech:
Mr. Phil Libin (CEO, evernote corporation),
+Focusing "Environmental Sustainability" as a global issue relating to science
and technology, we held lecture, role playing game, discussion.
+Designing the sustainable house model with using the recycle materials
of the recycle shop in Stanford University.
